The Southwest Mississippi Partnership (SWMP) is an eleven-county economic development partnership representing Southwest Mississippi. The Southwest Mississippi Planning and Development District (SWMPDD), headquartered in Natchez, Mississippi, is a private, non-profit organization created for the purpose of providing regional community and economic development services to a ten-county area that includes Adams , Amite, Claiborne, Franklin, Jefferson, Lawrence, Lincoln, Pike, Walthall and Wilkinson counties in Southwest Mississippi.
Additionally, Amite County, Franklin County, Pike County, Walthall County, Wilkinson County, and the City of McComb are contributing members of the Scenic Rivers Development Alliance (SRDA), a regional alliance formed to promote events and outdoor activities in Southwest Mississippi.
