Outdoor Adventures and Activities
Holmes Water Park is located in the middle of Tylertown and meandering along the sandy banks of scenic Magee's Creek is the paved walking trail known simply as "The Trail of Seven Bridges".
Paddlers put in at the Water Park or some downstream at the Lexie Bridge. From there, a trip to the take-out at the Dillon Bridge is six miles. Running a little slower and wider, this stretch of the creek is an easy paddle. Sandbars are more numerous here than upstream and there are more pools for swimming. The pavilion and the outdoor stage are available for parties and adjacent Camper Hookups are available at the Southwest Events Center for groups of 10 or more. For rental information, contact the Town of Tylertown at (601)876-4011.
